Marketing with Web 2.0

Wow, have I learned a lot in the past week (now that I'm going back to a JOB!!!!).

I've met some real nice Marketers/Entrepreneurs over the web this week and I'm real excited about it all. I now have no doubt that I have all the necessary information, knowledge and savvy to make it happen. I simply must put a plan of action together and follow through with it. I need to make time for my business and nurture all the good advice and friends I've made.

I need to set real goals, short-term ones to start with... once I've mastered this art, I simply need to expand on it. Facebook, MySpace, Squidoo and the various forums I belong to are good enough areas for me to develop my business, I must just learn how to utilise them to their full potential.

I am however getting a little annoyed with some forums, so much spam in there, it is getting hard to spend quality time on them... this is now also getting very tedious. I've a feeling that because this Web 2.0 is now being pushed on to everyone to use it... too many people are now jumping onto the band wagon, unfotunatley this means also a lot of spammers are using this medium to poison the system.

So now I am very selective on the Forums I join up with, I'll be pulling out of a few that I've enjoyed in the past but are getting too much now for me to be able to enjoy interacting any further.

I am also trying to pluck up the courage to doing my first video take and posting it to You Tube... that now is going to be a big part of my working schedule.... so, look out for it!

Right now I will concentrate on finishing to develop my business, posting to this blog (my favourite), interacting in the couple of forums I'm interested in... and that's it!

As it is late, I am going to call it a day....

Back to the Salt Mines

Hey, I start a temp job next week... at least it will relieve some of the pressure I've been under and bring in some very much needed cash flow....

I met a wonderful group of people yesterday and I'm hoping that through them I can find the Internet family I've always wanted.

It is so important to have others to discuss stuff with, exchange ideas and experiences, help those who need it with whatever info or knowledge you may have.... that to me is more valuable than any eBook, etc...

The more I read and post on Forums and Blogs, the more I like some of the special groups and the people therein that I've come across.

Looking for a JOB!

What a nuisance it is to look for and find a job! I'd forgotten how frustrating it can be!

I can't understand why these websites can't be all standardised... I mean from one to the other, the layouts are so varied, the search facilities too... nothing made simple and easy.

I'm looking for temp or contract work - do you think I can specify that? On one or two sites, yes... but the vast majority, you need to scroll through whatever results your search has provided and sieve through them all in order to find something remotely close to what you're looking for!

The best is, you apply for one of these jobs, but you first need to go register with the agency, right? This is totally normal.... but when the agency is 30miles away from where the actual job site is... well, then I get totally frustrated - it would take me 3 hours there and back just to register! What a joke!

So, yeah.... once again I am frustrated and angry! Nothing is easy these days and it is all so very tiring! Let's see what tomorrow will bring... at this rate my husband will throw me out of the house before I can earn enough to pay for next month's rent!

Trading is such Fun!

Well, I've been learning how to trade and it is sooooo fascinating!

Can't believe how great it is. I am now totally hooked, I just want to learn more and more.

I've only been trading on paper, but if my figures are correct I could have made a lot of money over the last few days... now I just have to test my skills "live" and see what results I get... then we can talk!

Anyhow, just thought I'd feel you in... it is late and I am tired...
